# Virtual Currency

Virtual Currency – means an instrument with a digital value, but without the legal status of currency or money, which is not issued or underwritten by a central bank or other public authority, and which is not necessarily linked to a currency, but which is recognised by natural or legal persons as an exchange instrument and which can be transferred, kept and traded by electronic means.
